He is a Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) alumnus. Has varied Industry experience as diverse as IT, Realty, Education… worked for Organizations like Tata Unisys, Wipro Infotech, Motorola, IL&FS, Manipal K-12 Education, Pearson Education, VIBGYOR International, Spectra Global, Creative Education Services.

For the last decade and half has focused his efforts into the K-12 space. Founding President for Pearson Schools wherein he had setup/acquired & operated 35 Schools in India & Nepal, Setup Spectra Global School, Doha now Member of the Board of Governors Bright Kids Nurseries, Abu Dhabi. Al Manahal School Al Ain (UAE). He advises half a dozen startups in the Education space.

He is Mathematical Science graduate. Is an Education Industry professional for both Higher Education & K-12. In his earlier professional management role worked in Higher Education space for companies like Cambridge University Press, Springer-Nature. Wherein he was the founding team member to setup their India operations.

In the K-12 space worked with Pearson Education as Vice President International Businesses, VIBGYOR International & Spectra Global. For VIBGYOR & Spectra was the business head to setup their Middle East operations.

Has worked extensively in the Indian Subcontinent, South East Asia, Middle-East & East Africa.

Is an Education Consultant. Her Core expertise in the K-12 space is in new school set up, relationship building, leading managing change, conducting whole school self- evaluations and advising subsequent school development plans, Coaching and Mentoring high performing School Leadership Teams.

She has worked as a Principal and Education consultant for GEMS, (UAE) for 7 years & Spectra Global (Qatar). She has also been a founding Principal for two British Curriculum Schools in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi for the Creative Education Services Group, (UAE).

BA English (Sociology Subsidiary), PGCE English/EFL, MA in Education Studies & Ed D in International Leadership, UK.

Her key areas of expertise: School Leadership, teaching for effective learning, Teaching English EFL and MFL, Curriculum development and assessment, processes and policies development and audit.

She has thirty-six very successful years leading and teaching in a wide variety of primary and secondary schools in the UK and ME (KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE). Has been Cluster Manager with ADEC (six years) and previous to that worked for GEMS Education Solutions UAE.

She is a visionary & futuristic educationist. With an experience of over two decades, she has been actively involved in building learning environments, developing curriculum, promoting hands on learning. She is focused on producing creative and innovative thinkers. She has been the Head of Academics for a leading education content company as well as Advisor and Mentor to leading school chains in India

She has been conferred with various Education awards – International Professional of the Year, Marqui’s Who is Who, Doors to Diplomacy Platinum Award, Excellence in Education Award…

Dr. Punam Kashyap is an eminent educationist backed by a career spanning over 4 decades. She has been associated with prestigious institutions like Delhi Public School (Mathura Road, Delhi), Convent of Jesus and Mary, Welham Girls High School Dehradun, Modern High School Dubai, DPS Kuwait, before bringing her academic acumen and experience to GEMS and now to Delhi World Foundation.

She played a significant role in launching and heading DPS Kuwait for 14 years- She has worked with Modern High School, Dubai (a GEMS School) before adorning her role at GEMS Education, India. She has authored books for children and is widely travelled having conducted ESL Workshops at Oxford and Eton.

As Director GEMS Education, she led the Operational & Academic management of the Group’s schools- pre- and post-operational phases. She has been launching several Schools of various curricula (CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE & IB) across India-From feasibility to actual launch and thereafter developing curriculums, Operational Standards, Systems and Policies, together with creating and delivering Leadership and Teacher Training modules.

Dr. Punam’s passion and Achievements in the K-12 has won her several prestigious Awards and Accolades including Lifetime Achievement Award by the Govt of India.
